What is CargoCare?
CargoCare is transport management software (TMS) for freight forwarders and intermodal operators. It covers quotation, order, rail and truck dispatch, train planning and invoicing in one program. It is made by IT4Log GmbH in Vienna, Austria.
Who is CargoCare for?
For freight forwarders, rail operators and container logistics companies that organise transport by rail, truck and sea container – from a small team with three workstations to groups with several companies.
How much does CargoCare cost?
In CargoCare Cloud the base product costs from €425 per month including three concurrent users; each additional concurrent user costs €25. Add-on modules cost between €30 and €185 per month. For operation on your own server we prepare a quotation. All prices plus VAT. See pricing
Does CargoCare run in the cloud or on my own server?
Both. In CargoCare Cloud we run the database and servers in Austria, including backups and updates. Alternatively CargoCare runs on your own Microsoft SQL Server, including the free Express edition.
Does CargoCare support e-invoicing, ZUGFeRD and XRechnung?
Yes. Every invoice contains an e-invoice according to ZUGFeRD 2.3 (EN 16931) in the PDF. For customers that require XRechnung, such as public authorities in Germany, CargoCare additionally creates an XRechnung 3.0.
What are the system requirements?
Workstations with Windows 10 or 11 (terminal servers too) and the .NET 8 Desktop Runtime. For your own server, Microsoft SQL Server 2017 or later. No e-mail client such as Outlook is needed. All requirements
How many users can I create?
As many as you like. Only users working at the same time are licensed and charged – ideal for shift work and sites in several countries.
Can I migrate existing data?
Yes. We migrate data from CargoCare 2 completely. For other systems we agree on the migration in the project.
