Visiting the website

When you access a page, your browser transmits technically necessary data to our web server: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system, and the previously visited page. We use this data solely to deliver the website and to protect it against attacks, and we delete the logs after 14 days.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). All transmissions are encrypted via HTTPS.

We operate the website on our own servers in Vienna. No external hosting provider is involved; the data does not leave our premises.

No cookies, no third parties

We do not set cookies, do not use any advertising services and do not embed fonts, videos, maps or scripts from third parties. Your visit is not passed on to anyone.

Visitor statistics with Matomo

To see which pages are read, we use the open-source software Matomo. It runs on our own server (analytics.it4log.com) in Vienna; the data is not passed on to third parties. We use Matomo without cookies, and it stores nothing on your device.

We record the pages viewed, date and time, the previously visited page, browser, operating system, screen size and language. Your IP address is shortened before it is stored, so that it cannot be traced back to you. We only evaluate the data in aggregated form and do not combine it with other data.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object to this processing at any time – by e-mail to office@it4log.com or by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser; Matomo will then not record your visit.

Contact by e-mail or phone

If you write to us or call us, we process your details in order to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a quotation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If no contract is concluded, we delete the data as soon as it is no longer needed; statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

Links to other websites

Links to other websites, such as LinkedIn, are simple references. Only when you click such a link do the privacy policies of the respective provider apply.

CargoCare software

This policy applies to the website. For the processing of data in the CargoCare software – in particular in CargoCare Cloud – we conclude a data processing agreement with our customers in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Please contact office@it4log.com.

If you believe that we are not processing your data lawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
